Business Development Manager

Position Overview
My client is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence in the managed IT services sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong ability to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand our client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in managed IT services, including IT consulting, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional strategies and campaigns to attract new clients.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, demonstrating the value of our IT services.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the IT services industry.
  • Strong understanding of managed IT services, including IT consulting, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business strategies and sales plans.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision making.
  • Experience with compliance assurance and business continuity planning is a plus.
