Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, possess excellent advocacy skills, and be committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will work closely with senior attorneys and clients, managing cases from inception through trial, and play a key role in the continued success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters, including complex commercial disputes, real estate, employment, and personal injury cases.
-Prepare legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
-Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
-Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients, offering practical solutions to legal challenges.
-Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
-Negotiate settlements and handle all aspects of case management from start to finish.
-Stay current on relevant legal developments and trends.
Qualifications:
-Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
-Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
-3+ years of experience in civil litigation, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex cases.
-Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
-Proven ability to handle a high volume of cases and meet deadlines.
-Experience with discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
-A client-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail.
