I spoke with the hiring manager about this role the other day, and he told me that he's looking for a superintendent with 5+ years of sitework and/or utility construction experience.

Plus, this company pays well (105k-$160k depending on experience), but that's not what is most interesting about this opportunity...

What's cool about this company is that they hire for the long term NOT one-off projects.

I've included more in-depth info below, but what this company's looking for is very simple: hard working superintendents who have 5+ years experience with sitework and/or utility construction experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise sitework operations including earthwork, excavation, grading, and utility installation
Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks
Enforce safety compliance measures to promote a safe working environment
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets project specifications
Manage project budgets and monitor expenses to prevent cost overruns
Negotiate contracts and work with subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals
Lead and mentor site teams to enhance performance and productivity
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
Assess and manage risks associated with site operations
Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands

Required Qualifications

5+ years sitework and/or utility construction experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
OSHA 10
Experience with drawings, materials, and cost control procedures
