Requirements: 5+ years of civil sitework & underground utility experience. Water line, sewer and draininage experience required.

Position Overview:
The Civil Utility Foreman is responsible for overseeing utility construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and safely. This role involves managing a team of construction workers, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in water, sewage, and drainage projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of utility construction crews.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices on site.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
Communicate with project managers and stakeholders to provide updates on progress and any issues.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met in water, sewage, and drainage construction.
Operate and maintain transit and pipe lasers for precise layout and grading tasks.
Train and mentor crew members on best practices and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Foreman in utility construction.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and safety regulations related to water, sewage, and drainage systems.
Experience with grading and earthwork operations.
Familiarity with transit laser and pipe laser equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
