Title: Digital Press Operator

Location: Cohoes, NY (Monday - Thursday 6AM - 4:30 PM)

Pay: $20-$25/hour

Position Overview
The Digital Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining digital printing equipment to ensure high-quality production of printed materials. This role focuses on optimizing print runs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the printing process.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate digital printing presses according to job specifications.
Monitor print quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure high standards are met.
Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise during the printing process.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of print jobs and meet production deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of production output and equipment maintenance.
Assist in the training of new operators on equipment and best practices.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in printing technology or related field preferred.
Proven experience in operating digital printing presses or similar equipment.
Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality control.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
