Job Title: Environmental Engineer
Location: Temple, TX
Salary: $90K - $130K
Requirements: B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field / 5+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment / Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, RCRA, SARA, DOT HAZMAT)
Additional ways in which a candidate may stand out would be:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and CAD software (AutoCAD, ProE preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Experience with Lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies
Summary
The Environmental Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role will oversee environmental initiatives, workplace safety, and process improvements while supporting manufacturing operations.
