Title: Ink Technician

Location: Cohoes, NY (Monday - Thursday 8AM - 4:30 PM & Friday 6AM - 2:30 PM)

Pay: $15 - $20/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ink Technician to join our team in a dynamic digital printing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing ink production and quality while ensuring optimal performance for flexographic printing processes. This position requires expertise in color differentiation and manufacturing of pressure-sensitive labels, contributing to the overall success of our printing projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and mix inks according to specifications and color standards.
Monitor ink quality during printing runs to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Conduct color matching and differentiation to meet client requirements.
Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot ink-related issues and optimize printing processes.
Maintain and organize ink inventory, ensuring all materials are stored properly and replenished as needed.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of ink mixing and application equipment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a digital printing agency, specifically with flexographic printing technology.
Strong understanding of color differentiation and ink formulation.
Experience in manufacturing processes related to pressure-sensitive labels.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
