Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our experienced and growing engineering team!  This position will play a crucial role in overseeing engineering projects from conception to completion. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within budget and timeline constraints, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide sound engineering principles for implementation of new manufacturing equipment, processes and procedures
• Study and recommend methods to improve existing equipment and processes
• Manage and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and process engineering teams to develop project specifications and requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to assess the viability of project proposals.
• Prepare project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports, to communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project, mechanical or manufacturing engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to mechanical and process engineering.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
