Production Engineer

Position Overview
The Production Engineer is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency and quality in production operations. The role involves production planning, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets.
Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Conduct root cause analysis to resolve production issues and reduce downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Utilize CAD software to design and modify production layouts and processes.
Participate in quality control processes and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Manage and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Support project management efforts for process improvement initiatives and new production projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in production planning and process optimization.
Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Experience with project management and CAD software.
Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Understanding of safety protocols and equipment maintenance standards.
