Title: Regional Sales Manager - Detroit

Location: Remote with travel - Detroit, MI area

Compensation: Base $120K-$130K + Bonus (OTE: $150K-$160K)

We are a global manufacturer of electronic connectors for the medical and military/aerospace markets. 

Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager will oversee sales operations in the Detroit area, focusing on driving revenue growth and expanding market presence in the electronics sector. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while identifying new business opportunities to enhance sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the Detroit region.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to maximize their performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the electronics market, focusing on connectors and interconnects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth within the region.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for upper management to track performance against targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience in sales and business development in the electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of connectors and interconnect technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
