Security Technician

Position Overview
The Security Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and alarm systems. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent customer service skills to ensure the safety and security of our clients' premises.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure security systems including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of security equipment and systems.
Provide technical support to clients regarding security system operations and issues.
Conduct site assessments to determine security needs and recommend solutions.
Train clients on the use and functionality of their security systems.
Respond promptly to service calls and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Monitor and maintain fire alarm systems and ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Security Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, alarm systems, and fire alarm systems.
Familiarity with networking and troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent technical support and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Relevant certifications in electronic security or related fields preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
