Tax Accountant

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns for both individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The Tax Accountant will also provide tax planning and consulting services to help clients minimize their tax liabilities and maximize their financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Conduct thorough reviews of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients to optimize their tax situations.
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
Assist clients with audits and respond to tax-related inquiries from government agencies.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information for tax preparation.
Analyze financial information to identify potential tax savings and opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred; or actively pursuing
Proven experience in tax accounting and preparation for individuals and businesses.
Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
