Tax Supervisor
Position Overview
The Tax Supervisor will oversee the tax preparation process for individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations. This role will involve managing a team of tax professionals and providing guidance on complex tax issues while maintaining high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of tax preparers and reviewers.
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
- Provide technical guidance on tax matters to clients and team members.
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information for tax filings.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings.
- Assist in training new team members on tax preparation processes and best practices.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of individual and business tax return preparation.
- CPA eligibility is preferred and will be considered a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
