Established (40+ Years) Full Service General Contractor Seeking Superintendent near Santa Barbara or Ventura
An established general contracting firm with over 40 years in business is seeking a Superintendent with 5-10+ years of experience to oversee projects spanning from Ventura to Santa Barbara. These projects include tenant improvement commercial (private schools) and ground-up high end residential homes.

Qualifications:
5-10+ years of experience supervising high-end residential construction and commercial projects
Experience with tenant improvement and ground up projects
Strong understanding of all construction phases, from grading to interior finishes
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Procore, and Smartsheet
Experience managing RFIs, daily reports, submittals, and other construction-related documentation
OSHA certification, first aid, and CPR training are beneficial but not required (training provided)
Must reside in near Ventura or Santa Barbara Counties and be willing to travel to job sites
Responsibilities:
Supervise and evaluate subcontractors, addressing performance issues promptly
Maintain and update project schedules using Smartsheet or similar software
Monitor project expenditures, identify variances, implement corrective actions, and manage RFIs to stay within budget
Enforce safety standards, coordinate with staff and subcontractors, resolve issues, and assist with change orders to achieve project goals
Maintain a safe work environment by following legal regulations, conducting weekly safety meetings, and enforcing safety protocols
Stay updated on emerging construction practices and standards to continuously improve job performance
